The average independent artist is truly independent. You own, operate, and fund your career with nothing more than faith in yourself and the money that's left over after paying the bills. Looking for some sort of a tactical advantage, you scrape dollars together to subscribe to a website or buy a book that claims to be able to sky rocket you to the next level. Instead, you find out that you've wasted money and time to read things that you, either, already know or doesn't apply to you.


I know because I was and still is that person. I've been in the Music Industry for ten years, and, in that time, I've released 6 albums, been on numerous national tours, had a documentary done on me, and completed a book. I've done all of this with no manager, label, major investor, full-time booking agent, or publicist. I've planned, struggled, failed, fought, succeeded, then repeated the process over and over again.


In this time I've learned a lot of things about the music business and myself, and have an obligation to share it with as many folks as possible. So here it, my contribution to the world.
